Actually its ACX 2.0 overclocked to 1.17 MHz for the EVGA edition 

and only 1.14 MHz for the MSI edition

Ok, well you said ACX in the top so I assumed ACX 1.0 because there is a 1.0 and 2.0 version of the 970.

There's really not much difference between coolers, I would just get the one that looks best with your rig.

well I'm going with a i7 4790k attatched to the z97 gaming 5 and 16GB of RAM 1600MHz and yeah do you thinks its suitable

I have heard Twin Frozr perform better, but the difference is so minimal that choosing based on aesthetics is the way to go

They perform the same and it will come down to the silicon lottery as they are the same chip. EVGA ACX coolers are dodgy though as they have misaligned heatpipes.

Factory overclocking has nothing to do with it, if you're getting a 970, you should do yourself a favor and overclock it and get 25+% free performance. 970s also run extremely cool, so go for aesthetics and brand loyalty if not cooling/noise. imo twin frozr is noticeably better and even comes with a mousepad.

Also a lot of the EVGA Maxwell cards apparently have awful noise issues, whereas the MSI ones don't even spin up their fans until they hit 60C.

Both cards are new  everything you here are moustly people experience. Negative gets more noise and it all depends how many units i sold. Hard to say.
