I'm using win 8.1 x64. Yesterday evening everything was working fine, but when I turned on my pc today the folder which was on my desktop is missing. I've tried show hidden files and folders and it isn't hidden, and I've also tried Stellar Phoenix and R-studio and it wasn't deleted. I've no idea what to do, any help please?

The ability to google properly is a skill of its own.

I'm the only who is using it, no one has the access to it. I've scanned the drive and no errors. And if it was deleted wouldn't then Stellar or R-studio be able to pick it up? Because this is the first time they aren't showing deleted files and I've used them before

I wish I confused it. This is the folder with "the best of" songs I've been collecting for years, this is the one folder I'll never delete xD

Like 2 years ago my brother moved to another city but left his PC.

I deleted his 11gb song collection because I thought more space on HD = better performance.

I was very, very wrong.
