Yo! So I've got this great app idea (which I won't disclose here) and I've run it over with a few people I'd trust with my life. Anyways, it's been determined that it'd be worth pursuing the development of said app and that nothing of its sort currently exists. I don't have any experience nor the time to start working on this now, so this will just be planning for next summer.

I've installed the current Android developer kit from their website but see that developing for Apple requires the use of a Mac. Since I already have a PC, I'll be starting off developing for Android and porting it over later to iOS. Does anyone know of a workaround for the Apple scenario though (to avoid having to buy a Macbook)? I know I've got loads of research left to do but I also just wanted to get some quick info on what skills and types of code I should be learning to develop this app. Again, I have no experience with coding (I'm a pre-medical student) and would be willing to work with others to develop the app if it shows to be too large a task for one person. Thanks in advance!
