Unable To Hide Partition | Getting Drive Errors

Please refer the image attached.

I tried hiding the partition by removing the drive letter in Disk Management.

But when I do so, I start getting Drive Errors..!!

When i boot windows 7, DISK Check starts.
And forcefully I have to go thorough the long irritating process otherwise windows 7 won't start leading BSOD after half an hour or so.

When i boot 8.1, I dont hav to go through disk check, but a notification keeps on irritating - PLEASE SOLVE ERRORS WITH YOUR DRIVE

 

My HDD is a 1 year old Seagate Baracuda Green 2TB healthy HDD.
Please help.

no idea,im not a partitioning kind of guy...for every task i buy another HDD/SSD
