Accidental Ram - build log

ok, so this is a place where im going to upload a stupid amount of pics of my system

 

its not watercooled or anything like that, youll get why its called accidental ram in a bit(when the pics go up)

 

but here it goes

 

Spec

Asus Z68 V-Pro Mobo

Intel i7 2600k 

Gainward Phantom GTX 580 3gb

Silver arrow cooler(the big one)

NZXT m59 moded to accom cooler/better airflow

Samsung 830 128gb ssd

seagate 500gb storage

OCZ 700w Mod-xstream psu

gskill ripjaws 1600mhz/cl9 ram.(red ffs)

 

 

the build will be an almost silent setup, but still have a monster 4,4+GHZ oc. and still have temps under 50c while on prime/folding

 

ill start uploading pics when i get a chance to.

 

but heres the start of it

 

 

 

custom SSD mounts. and note the cpu cutout needed to be made wider to accom the silver arrow cooler.

 

just test fitting, will have everything cleaned and primo for the build ;)

also, where the SSD is there are HDD rails, im going to be cutting them out to allow better air flow, and mount the HDD in the bit above the HDD cage/under 5.1/4 cage.

 

apart from that im going to get a few bits of cable sleeving etc

 

the system will run 4 fans, 1 side window120mm, 1 front120mm, and the cooler has 2 fans 140mm/150mm.

 

 

 

it all looks a bit rough n ready but ill have it spick and span and shiney in no time ;)
