Hello, I am planning my first build and am just about ready to buy the parts. Various internet sources told me this (http://pcpartpicker.com/p/RbwNsY) run all games at ultra settings at 1080p at 60fps is this true? Any help is appreciated because I know very little about parts. Thanks!

Yes this is a good build. Not sure about consistent 60fps in everything but definitely a good experience in all current and future games.

If his link doesn't work for you heres his build:

You could get the R9 280X for example its not that much more expensive (recent price drop iirc). Here's some benchmarks http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/1332?vs=1041
