Yes it runs them as independent displays

I was looking at some more graphics cards for my Dell (out of curiosity of the price) and for some of the ones that have a DMS-59 connector, it says that it supports dual displays. Are the displays independent (like a normal dual monitor setup), or are they cloned?

It can, but it's a digital signal (DVI capable).

I meant the cable

They have VGA and DVI versions of the cable.

DVI I have a VGA one because I didnt think there was a DVI version
