looking for a good file management program

I am looking for a program that can search all of my drives for music of any file type and copy it to one folder. if it could handle pictures and other types of media too that would be icing on the cake. does anyone know of such a program?

Total commander is my Favorite. 2 panels ,can compress /decompress, FTP and more.use Krusader on Linux

i dont want to spend days looking through 2TB of files to find my mess of music mixed in with pix and docs and movies. im looking for an auto find and copy program. i would just search for *.mp3 bit i have many file types.

Well you could use itunes (yuck) and consolidate your library - I think it copies everything into its own folder and organizes it. But it probably doesn't do Flac or Ogg files. but its a start. Then copy the rremaining Flacs and Oggs into their directories that itunes set up then kill iTunes.

Total commander will search - click "feed to listbox" after search then copy or move to the desired directory on the other panel - you can select various files in the list by shift clicking , and sort by date filename etc. you can add new columns too(if sorting needs to be tweaked) and sort using them

 i would just search for *.mp3 bit i have many file types.

you know search allows for boolean search terms right? " *.mp3 OR *.flac OR *.wmp" should work. at least i believe that the correct format..
