new GPU ?

I've got a radeon 5970 + a 5870 in my pc, but i was thinking to get an another gpu. like and radeon 7970.

what should i do? keep my configuration or sell it and buy a radeon 7970?

Either get an gtx 780 or wait for amds 8000 series cards to come out.

Given that your arrangement doesn't work very well I would go for a single card. The 7970 is a sterling card, more than enough for anything at 1080p.

 

Just don't Crossfire it.

If you love having backups then keep the cards but once you upgrade to a 7970 you won't need them at all; in terms of putting them in your main rig that is.

I think I wait for the 8000 series. does anyone have the real specs of the 8000 series? i saw a lot of specs but al different.. anyone who know these?
