I want to upgrade my GPU because most games I try to run I have to run them at medium-low preferences and that bothers me. I'm not sure though whether to upgrade only my GPU or the whole system.

Specs to my current PC:

-CPU: Intel i5 3570 3.4GHz

-GPU: Asus GTX 650 1GB GDDR5

-RAM: 8 GB

I wanted to upgrade to a GTX 760 4GB or 2GB GDDR5 by GIGABYTE or a GTX 770 by GIGABYTE. Can you tell me which GPU to pick (I know that the GTX 770 is better but will my specs bottleneck it?) or whether I should even upgrade my GPU, should I just wait and get a better PC all together?

Welcome to the forum! Please remember to follow your topics so you're notified when someone answers ;) in my sig you can find links to the CoC and the forum's F.A.Q. check them out!

If all you want is 1080p then get an amd R9 285 and call it a day, it's priced better than the 760. The 770 doesn't make any sense. If you want more than 1080p, get a gtx 970. You most certainly don't need to upgrade anything else.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨
