AMD catalyst problem

So my current GPU just broke so i have to use my old amd 5750.. When i try to install the amd catalyst drivers i get an error (Failed to load detection driver) i have tried using a older verision of amd catalyst but i just get the same error. Does anyone have any clue why im getting this error message?

what was your old card if it was nvidia you have to wipe those drivers

AMD site is currently down for maintenance so you won't be able to download drivers at the moment which is really sad for me since I just did a clean install.

Edit : turns out you can just not via the homepage, I've been off today, a week or so ago they were doing broader maintenance where you just couldn't download any drivers.

I think i have fixed it now. I have it installed but im getting some random stutter issues on the monitor. Not quite sure what is causing this.

i have no idea how it broke. It was an gtx 660 and whenever i launch a game i get about 5min of gameplay and then it just crashes. Im pretty sure im getting a 970 on monday. This 5750 is terrible
