Studder/lag after Super Sampling

So I created a custom 4K res for my 1080p monitor and I have been setting the games that agree with super sampling to that res. Two of them is BF4 and BF3 and I get what I would call lag but my Ping is 54ms. I didn't notice this before or at least it wasn't as prevalent so whats the problem and how do I fix it?

50-140 (Stays above 75 at all times unless I get blown up but I notice the lag when I'm just running around and the framrates high)

 

I'm still under 3GB of RAM as well I checked

its likely that there is some lag induced by the scaling to 1080 since its like on the fly compression and that might be what adds lag

gpu but how are you doing that are yolu using the nvidia service since you have a lightning also nice core clock on that i got the same

No since I have a 700-series card its a custom resolution set in the Nvidia Control Panel. Its not DSR

yea rendering that can take more lag in your car you said vram usage is low because that can cause it

ehh that is not what i think is the problem like aa causes lag so supersampling is worse

Well being that the 780 can't even get close to 60fps min with regular MSAA then being that Supersample AA is much more intensive would be what is causing the lag. http://www.techspot.com/review/734-battlefield-4-benchmarks/page3.html

That's because the 780 avgs under 60fps @ 1080P with minimums in the 30s.

That said you are getting 110avg fps in BF3 not BF4 on a single GTX 780
