hello i currently have a pc which i will be selling to my brother and it has all my stuff and i was wondering is there any way to back it up and then erase everything on the hdd?

i need to buy a pc under 1200, i will be getting nzxt h440 orange, corsair fans 3 of them, asus sabertooth mark 1, corsair dominator plantinum, i will plasti dip the top part of the ram and the fan rings, or is there something else you recommend me? also a corsair h105 is necessary, i will also plasti dip the ring on that too.

Yeah? You can always mirror your current HDD to another HDD.

If the data on the HDD is "sensitive", than I recommend formatting it at least 5 times. (Or better yet, keep that HDD and buy him a new one)

You can edit your post asking other people to build a $1250 on PCPartPicker.

Just keep your current drive (unless it's getting old) and add an SSD.

HDDs tend to be more unreliable after aging so just replace both the one in yours and your brother's PC.

And SSDs as a boot drive really just cost around $70.

(840EVO/850PRO RECOMMENDED!)
