how can I remove case standoffs?

get some pliers + or use a piece of cloth to give you the extra grip , use your thumb +index+middle fingers& twist hard , usually does the trick..

I believe you can get screwdriver/thumbscrew adapters for standoffs. My case came with one, but I honestly don't know where to find them. But pliers can work too if you're careful
