Minor Headset troubles.

YOYOFREAK888

Hi, I recently ordered a pair of these: http://www.amazon.com/AFUNTA-Comfortable-Headphone-Headband-Professional/dp/B00MISMT92/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1413029351&sr=8-4&keywords=afunta+g4000

Out of the Box, they're great; look good feel good and have SP00KY LEDs, which is always nice. The music quality is fine and I'm satisfied. However as soon as I tested them in game (CSGO and TF2) I noticed that the audio sounded almost like I was underwater, somewhat.... Muffled. I have checked the audio settings both in game and out of game, made sure that it is all set to high etc and yet I still have this problem. If anyone could suggest anything that would be fantastic!

Do you have any effects and/or surround enabled? Virtual surround especially can cause things to sound muffled.

While playing music the sound is fine? Try it and report.

For 21$ headset, i think it doesnt have any software or hardware surround and the only thing about it is that is just crappy sound quality. When multiple sounds playing it just morphs them in one :D

Try turning it off.

I'm in game, will I need to turn the game off?

You most likely have to restart the game, yes.
