Laptop Charging Light

Rohit Jackdaw

I have an HP Pavilion Laptop. While charging an Orange indicator appears on the side and it turns to white when fully charged. Now even after disconnecting charger the white light remains there. By plugging in charger but with no power connected the light goes off and when power is on the light comes again but orange. I currently have the laptop turned off with charger removed and white light is back. While working on battery in Windows it shows Plugged in and Not Charging. Why does it show plugged in when it is completely unplugged ? I tried reinserting battery. When battery is removed no light and when inserted back white comes again. What to do now ? Sorry for the long thread. Thanks.

Not too much of an issue if your laptop still charges, definetely something to contact HP about.
