I use blues atm and this is my first switch. I'm ordering the new keyboard today but I dont know if I will like browns. I have done a lot of research. I wanted either Browns or Reds. However all the red keyboards here in my place are TKL and the cheapest full size layout keyboard w reds is the K70(non rgb) which is 150 euros.

So I decided for Browns. Now my experience w blues is that they are too loud for me and it's really annoying now. The keys feel too heavy and I'm not too fond of the tactile bump because to me it feels like the keys are fighting back.

Now people say the Browns are quieter, lighter, that the tactile bump is nowhere near as pronounced, double tapping is easier, which seems to be pretty much the fix for most of my problems w the blues.

I game a lot but I do want a good typing experience as well

Do the browns feel smoother/almost linear? If they feel almost exactly like blues I might have to go for Reds

@ManOfDisguise , I'd say the best way to describe them is as 'softer' blues. They're quieter, but they still have a fairly distinct tactile bump. With that said, I have a brown keyboard at home (which I used for about 3 months) and a red keyboard here at college that I've used for about 2 months....Now, at first I didnt really like the bump since it felt awkward to me (at least thats what I think was tripping me up a bit), so thats why I got reds....and I have to say they feel less 'awkward', but at the same time I also find myself making typos more frequently due to how much easier they are to press. With all that said...I'm still not sure if the reason I disliked browns was because of the bump, or if its just because I wasnt used to a mechanical keyboard....

So, my suggestion would be to figure out if its the bump you don't like, or if its just that you're used to something different. Also, a secondary issue with reds, I find myself bottoming them out harder due to a lack of that tactile bump--thereby adding to the noise level.
