HELP DisplayPort not working (sorta)

Hi guys

I have a weird issue where my DisplayPort on my new Asus PB298Q wont work inside windows. When I boot up it works fine in the bios but as soon as I hit windows the connection is lost and I'm left with a blank screen. So there is nothing wrong with the hardware, its something software related in windows. Some things that I have tried are: turning off the DDC/CI, deleting all the displays the are hidden under the device manager, trying another PC. 

 

All suggestions/help would be appreciated this issue is beginning to get to me

Intel 4970k

Asus GTX 670 4gb

Corsair AX 860i

Corsair H100i

Samsung 840 pro 120gb

Seagate 600 120gb SSD

Seagate Barracuda 3tb x2

Corsair Vengeance RAM 16gb 1600MHz
