DDR4: CAS vs speed

about to pick up 32gb of DDR4 for my new build.

 

any thoughts on whether I should go for 2133mhz CL15 (gskill ripjaws) or 2400mhz CL16 (crucial ballistix sport)?

 

theyre both around the same price, and my budget won't allow for anything that costs more than this

i would fo 2400mhz if you plan to game and render

I would do the 2400mhz myself. I would be conservative on what you buy considering DDR4 is brand new and prices will drop with time and speeds will increase as the months go by. Just my opinion but buying DD4 should be a temporary fix until the good stuff starts coming out down the road and prices start to fall. You are an early adopter of DDR4.
