Metro last light same fps any resolution/quality? [RESOLVED]

Hello there, picked up metro last light a while back and i have this problem...
When playing the game i get like from 30 fps when starting the game to 4fps after 20 seconds. The menu plays alright and the fps does not change no matter what i do with the video settings.
What could it be?

Most likely the problem is the Physx in the game. Try disabeling it.

Probably PhysX or SSAA, the Metro Redux games defaulted to 4x SSAA for me for some reason.

In the in game menu, under ´Game options´ (or something similar). There should be a box titled ´Advanced PhysX´. Uncheck that box.

Also check the SSAA as the others have suggested.

I had the same problem.

To fix this, simply allocated 7GB (or 5GB if you have only 8GB installed) to the game and that'll fix it. This also works for the redux edition.
