Got too many things that I needed to plug in to the computer, but then I realize there are usb hub on the market. However, I am not so sure which brand or product is best for performance because I heard my friend bought one that it can only connect hard drive and it's super slow.

Can anyone suggest any good usb hub?

Thanks

How many ports do you need?

4 port is enough, dont want to put anything big on table

Most of them should be okay, I've bought mostly unbranded cheap China USB hubs and I never got any problems with them (so far).

I think just choose what you like the look off and has all the features you want (external power? number of USB hubs?USB3?)

Or should I get PCI-e to usb 3? I am planning to have SLI config is there gonna be a problem?

Shouldn't be a problem if you have enough slots/space for it. I like hubs better since its less wires coming out of your computer and you can mount them into more convenient places. I'm looking for a hub right now, but I don't see any 4 port usb 3.0 hubs that are powered and have a detachable or long cable. I'll keep looking.

Monoprice 9955. It has four USB 3.0 ports and the cable is detachable, so you can get one that is long enough to reach your PC. Also it has an AC adapter, so it will have plenty of power.

Never heard of them before, however, I was searching abour Anker and Plugable USB hub, they have good reviews and top seller on amazon, just not sure if its perfomance is good or bad.

powered hubs are defo better than unpowered, get usb2 and you should be fine, if u get a usb1 it will be massively slow, only get usb3 if the devices you plug are usb3

I prefer belkin for hubs, but I havent used them in ages as my pc has endless usb it would seem lol,

have you got your front panel USB connected? fully?

Could you get something like

http://www.amazon.com/Sedna-Port-USB-Internal-Floppy/dp/B00EYHA05U

slots where your floppy drive would go if u bothered having one lol!

10 slots though and should plug directly to the usb2 headers on the board so will be nice n fast!
