You can do custom(open), but if this rig will be moved around, I'd go with closed. It'll be much lighter.

usually any water-cooling loop is a closed system. they all have a cap to prevent dust

and debris from entering the system.

i think you mean sealed (closed - AIO) or custom loop.

overclocking is a heat generator, so water-cooling is prolly the best advantage to use

to lower the temperatures and allow a quieter operation to exist.

it is also the most expensive to get into.

you'll want to research how much radiator you'll need to have to cool a 4770k/780

overclocked and deal with that first. then what case can hold all of that equipment without

looking terrible messy and unpleasing to look at.

you'll prolly find that this will start at $400+ to get started just for the cooling components

and prolly more depending on what stage of aesthetics you would like to have.

the reviews are not even out yet completely for the haswell release as

of saturday. so you'll prolly have to wait like the rest of us to find out

how hot this overclocking can get.

from preliminary releases suggest that it is going to be hotter than ivey

bridge was so with that said, be prepared to shell a budget quickly.
