I'm looking to build a new gaming rig and can't decide whether i want a 650d or 350d.

I plan to have two 780's and a 4770k cpu, and I want to put in some prebuilt watercooling as well.  I also plan to overclock everything.

Would the 350d fit my needs as far as cooling and space goes, or should i up it to a midtower 650d?

Unless you're on a tight budget (obviously not if you have two 780's) go for the 650D, more room, convenience, installation will be a breeze, and it's just generally a higher quality case, not saying the 350D is bad at all, it too is beautiful.  That's my stance, I'd go for the 650D.

welcome to the forums.

probably neither to be honest. although an AIO is pretty efficient way to cool a CPU, the idea

of custom water cooling all of the components at a later date in either case would be restricted.

it would be doable in either, but you'll find limiting factors on both as opposed to a case better

suited for water cooling.

the AIO will suffice till you want more. and you will want more, it is the nature of water cooling.

so you really got to be honest with yourself on what your plans are now and in the future.

dabbling with the AIO and expectations of powerful numbers will not really happen. creating

780 SLI with typical air-cooling is really only using a portion of the GPU ability. getting it cooler

than air-cooled does respond to more GPU processing and then comes the custom loop.

neither case would be a candidate for what thermal needs will need to be met with, unless

contemplating external radiators.

but good luck with your decision.

They are very different cases, I own the 650D and I love it but there is not much in the way of watercooling options. I suggest the 350D if you want to watercool all of the components. Also if you go for the 350D it means you only have space for the two GPU's and no sound card. (Bad decision in my mind.)

If you only plan on using predone watercooling loops like the Swiftech H220 then the 650D will serve you well.

I love that case even if it is difficult to cable route in it...
