I much rather prefer the view from Slicks angle. Its just a wide view that lets us see everything. Diesel's view tends to be out of focus (There's just a general delay for the focus to work).

Also I really don't mind if slick moves in for the small text part. Its just really annoying to keep switching the cameras.

I think the fact that 2 different cameras are used is also annoying. Diesels camera has very clear colour and bad focus while slicks camera has the exact opposite.

In the last video I think this is most prominent.

I'm not saying chage it, I'm just giving my own opinion on it.

I wonder if people agree or disagree with this.

I for one totally agree with this though they are just getting used to it atm.

Something else I have noticed, at least with my monitor (Dell U2410) 'Diesel's camera' is ridiculously over-contrasted I can't see any details what so ever in anything dark which is disappointing.

Its not a bad idea, its just the way it is implemented. I think what Dezel could do closeup shots and all that jazz seperate, then they can integrate it into the review when they edit the video. For instance if linus wants to show off a feature like the scroll wheel on a mouse, Dezel could later on, after the review, get the lighting right and do the closeup shots of the scroll wheel and then edit it in when linus wants to show off the feature...

Or you could simply get a photo.

A photo would look incredibly out of place in a video.

Not if edited in properly. A photo that pops up with linus in the background would be much better. If Diesel was bothered to add such trickery to the video.

I think they are doing this so they don't have to edit the video. By doing it this way they are cutting out having to archive a bunch of footage as well as saving time on editing. They have both cameras feeding into a machine which I assume is rendering on the fly? I for one do not like this approach. In the last couple of videos it just seemed awkward that Linus was having to reach over to the keyboard to switch between cameras. I don't think Diesel or Slick know which camera is on so it made for some, for lack of a better term, dead video.

Exactly I just prefer the standard 1 camera.

What would be best is if Slick could record and Diesel could control the camera on the fly, as in sort out white balance etc. It would make for a much better video.

I like the new setup, the differences in cameras is quite noticeable but i like the overall feel of the video. My main suggestion would be to Linus: When you switch to diesel's camera either prop up the detail you want him to shoot for 4-5 seconds before you switch so he can have time to focus a bit or when you switch give him 5 seconds to adjust to the thing you want him to film. Have some patience man :). Anyways the new setup rocks, love the direction in which it's all going been a fan for over 2 years and thumbs up from me.

I have to say the new video is much much much better.

Everything looks really well done.

You even managed to make your hand disappear at 6:27 :)
