Ethernet Headset

Hey, slightly off-topic but My Mother works  one of those telecommunicator jobs where she spends a lot of time on the phone. She is looking to get a headset to use to talk to people but she says her company needs her to get a headset with a ethernet cord attached cause it plugs into there system via ethernet?

 

Anyone know of this? and know where to get one for a decent price.

 

She says the ones her company want her to buy cost $80 but there garbage and made with cheap materials.

Maybe grab a solid headset and try a converter/adapter? Like this one?

I've never heard of an Ethernet headset.

Ohh.. I think it isn't an ethernet cable, but it's a phone cable

yeah I never heard of one either. Didnt sound right to me. Maybe if I seen the one they where trying to sell her it would make more sense.

I think that's the opposite or what be needed if this where actually a headset with a ethernet cord attached to it. It plugs into there systems using ethernet not the 3.5mm Headphone jack and the jack definitely doesnt go into the headset.

I don't think it plugs into a computer but directly into a phone network.
