I just watched this on Netflix and found it extremely interesting.

For those who haven't watched it, it's basically a guy disproving the whole sensationalist film "GasLand" about how fracking causes all thee problems with health/environment etc etc etc.

And for those who don't know, fracking is a method used to get natural gas out of the ground by using hydraulic pressure to fracture the shale it is encased in. Or something to that effect.

Thoughts if you've seen it? If you haven't?

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

Haven't seen it, but I did watch another fracking documentary a while ago - similar points I assume from the Netflix information.

Is it just me or is Grammar slowly becoming extinct on LTT?

IIRC it was neither bashing it nor supporting it. However it from the information it was providing it would be hard to consider a supportive documentary. It was "SuperSize Me" approach - independent research and interviews with both scientist, concerned citizens, not many politicians (if any) and same for companies who were running the operations. It wasn't a film about a group of people who tie themselves up truck in hopes to stop the process or vandalizing etc. Morgan Spurlock didn't really bash McDonalds but his evidence sure gave some interesting food for thought. 

 

For the life of me I can't find it on netflix. TBH I think it was a DVD RENTAL!!!

I might watch this. I know that while fracking isn't the best, and the corperations are shady, the anti-fracking crap is full of lies (like the fire water) and idiots who are against it but know nothing about it but are against it because it's a form a collecting natural resources, and it's popular to be against.
