So basically while preparing for my computer, my cousin actually felt the need to upgrade his almost decade year old computer.. Anyways so I've been trying to plan out his build but couldn't really get a good idea yet, he's using it purely for gaming and maybe some graphic designs.

The budget of the build is $1500.00 but it is possible to go above the budget a little, however it's preferred to keep it as low as possible. The only thing that needs to be used inside the build is a GTX 970 or 980. What input do you guys have? Also the case will be a custom desk that I will be building for him. Thanks if you read this, if you placed your input below, I appreciate all the help ! Hope everyone has a good day !

Assuming that he doesn't edit very often, the case is not included in the budget and the PC is focused purely on gaming I think we can fit a moniter and keyboard in the system(I cannot promised it tho).

My bad I thought I added that into the OP, no OS is needed, peripherals aren't required either and monitor isn't necessary I'm supplying him for all of these and the cost of the desk, the rest is just the build of the PC and he's going into designs but won't be for a while he just does it as a hobby. So basically it's all about gaming right now
