My motherboard doesnt turns on

Go to solution Solved by flibberdipper,

Do you have a short somewhere, and is everything plugged in nice and snug?

So i just bought the part for my new pc, I installed everything on the except for the GPU and tried to power it on by touching the 2 pin that are suppose to power the board on.

Everything connected. The motherboard. CPU(fan spinning) and the Power supply (fan spinning) turns on for a fraction of a second and immediately shuts down.

MSI G5 motherboard

16G Fury RAM

500G SSD

EVGA Supernova 750 G2 80 Plus Gold Fully Modular Power Supply

i7-4790K

stock CPU fan

I dont have a GPU on because it didnt arrive yet, and there should be an integrated GPU in the i7 right? Or its the motherboard that doesnt support the integrated graphic card?
