Hey guys im kinda new around here and im not sure if this is already answered but i built my computer in August and use it mostly for gaming.  As i have learned more about computers and stuff i have come to realize that i should have also gotten an SSD. The biggest concern for me is that all my desktop stuff wont remain and that my windows settings will all be reset.  If you guys can help inform me about SSD's and if this idea would even work since i already have my OS on my HDD and have been using it for almost 2 months.  I've heard that cloning can cause massive issues and im worried about that route.  But im also not sure how the fresh install works. So any help would be greatly appreciated

If you have the Windows disk still, a fresh install is a better option as it will run faster. However, it's up to you and if you don't feel you need a fresh install, or you don't want to because you have stuff on your PC that you don't want to get rid of, then it is fine to simply clone your disk.

Compatible with Windows 95

I have never tried cloning. It takes a short while to make a list of what programs you should install and backing up your files (documents, projects, music), but installing the OS and installing everything again is pretty simple. After my dad backed up all his stuff, his PC was up and running in 1 day. All programs installed and everything.
