Most of you probably don't understand the title, but what I want to do, is run 1680x945 on a 1680x1050 monitor without any stretching.

I can do this with my old NVidia GT 430, but when I want to run the resolution I want on my ATi HD 5850, I experience stretching and visual artifacts.

Are there any of you out there who can help me?

edit: forgot specs and those things

Specs: they're on my profile, (I might sound like a lazy guy, but that's kind of how I roll) basically

using custom resolutions on AMD cards is worse than Nvidia cards. It's down to drivers and software.

21:9 > 16:9 > 16:10 > 4:3

You just get vertical resolution , which isn't great for FOV , and you have to render at a higher resolution for just some more ceiling/sky and floor

Woops, misread the title , i though it was gonna be a fight about best aspect ratios
