Lenovo Y50

If I buy the Lenovo Y50 (i5 with the SSHD) what would be the best way to download windows 8.1 to an SSD when I change, clone the drive on to the SSD or find a way to download it from Microsoft?

You wont be downloading an ISO from Microsoft. Your best bet is to just clone the SSHD to the SSD. When you get it brand new.

Depending on the SSd you buy, you should get some sort of cloning software with it that allows you to do this quite easily.
