Okay, im looking for a monitor for my PC. im on a Gigabyte GTX 770 Windforce with i7 4770K and 32Gb RAM (Way overkill i know :D)
im looking at the BenQ XL2420Z (24 inch version) im hopefully going to be using display port on it. does anyone recommend the monitor?

I think we are in the same boat. I have a gtx 970 and a i5 4690k. I was looking at a similar monitor: the benq xl2430t, but was wondering if there is a beter solution for less or around 300 bucks?

120Hz monitors are going to cost more than, well, a not 120/144Hz monitor. It's still cheaper than some of the other options out there. I know Asus has one (VG248QE) which should be a little cheaper.

 

OP is your rig primarily for Graphic design or something with that much ram, or are you ram-disking?

Nope. mine is for gaming, my dad built it and he goes over kill with everything (check my age if you wonder why my dad built it :D)
