Hello everybody,

 

This is one one of first posts to the forum.

I really like it, I have been browsing here for a while. I watch the livestream every week and follow all the videos on youtube.

Very entertaining and informative.

 

Heres my latest build.

 

Not a monster or very difficult build.

Just a nice stable, decent looking spacious gaming rig.

 

Components are as follows:

 

Coolermaster Haf XB Case

Intel I5 3570K (OC'd to 4.6)

Asrock Z77 Extreme 4 Mobo

OCZ Mod-Xtream modular 700watt PSU 

Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1600 Ram Kit

OCZ Vector 120 SSD

Raptor 500gb Storage Drive

Antec Kuhler 620 CPU Cooler

Coolermaster Megaflow 200mm top fan

NZXT Lighting

VTX3D Radeon HD 7870 LE Black Edition graphics card. (OC'd to 1200)

System looks much better and cleaner in the flesh.

It performs really well.

 

I flashed the bios on the GPU and this allowed the overclock to work. Bios that came with the card would not allow the overclock to stick! Changing to the older one worked perfectly and because this card uses Tahiti silicon allowed me to push the card and its performance to to the max outperforming anything at the price level. Plus the card came with 6 free games! Bioshock Infinite, Far cry 3, Tomb Raider, Sleeping dogs and Far cry blood dragon, and Hitman absolution!

 

I have an overclock on the CPU 4.6GHZ Stable.

 

All in all its a very capable system scoring P9002 in 3dmark 11, with a graphics score of 9380.

Cheers guys, yeah the card is a lesser known brand but made by the tul who also own powercolor. Case is great plenty of room, really good airflow. And loads of options when it comes to cooling / water cooling.
