Are WASD keyboards worth the price they charge. Seems like a great keyboard which is highly customizeable but i don't know much about them

It seems like an interesting concept, customize which switch you want, what color you want your keys and dip switches on the back which gives you more customization options

They're really well built, actually, and not that expensive. Shame it's 50$ shipping to where I live.

You can even do your own layout in color no less.

lol I was just coming to ask that exact question, personally I was thinking of going the code keyboard, I just wish they had it in the MX blue instead of green and clear. Any recommendations on which of the 2 would be best for 50% typing/programming 50% gaming?

You want clicky or non?

WASD keyboards are worth it in the same way a Custom Shop guitar is worth it. Yes, you can get similar specs/features on other, significantly cheaper boards. But, those were "off-the-shelf" boards, not personalized just from you. As I understand it, there's no issues trying to get graphics, like what's on this custom "Axiom edition" keyboard (Axiom is an eSports team owned by Total Biscuit btw)

There's some cool designs kicking around. So if you want a completely custom keyboard, I'd say go for it. I'm very nearly considering it, custom font/graphics and my gamer ID printed on it

Keyboard: Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2013 | Mouse: Razer Deathadder 2013 | Headphones: Sennheiser HD438s | Mousepad: Razer Goliathus Control | Monitor 1: Benq XL2430T | Monitor 2: BenQ RL2455HM

Clicky, I love clicky (can't believe I forgot to mention that lol).

Greens. They are also a bit lighter than clears which are the most tactile cherry switches. I also believe the green boards come with orings pre-installed.

If you're planning on getting one then get the barebones. Although the keycaps can have different colors they're very thin and made of ABS plastic. Just get a nice set of PBT caps to put on your barebones WASD keyboard.

cant do custom legends and color legends to your design though.
