AMD VEC encoding on a apu with a separate gpu?

I am not 100% sure but I think it has something to do with HSA which is supported in very few programs.

I was wondering if you can use the gpu on the apu to encode video, whilst using a separate gpu?

 

e.g like QuickSync?

 

Any Ideas?

No problem. I just hope that HSA gets more support as it is really cool technology.
