So I got the parts for a pc put it all together and now I cant get windows to install to my ssd.

When it askes where I want to install windows I have 4 choices

Disk 0 partition 1 size:100mb free space: 78mb type:system

Disk 0 unallocated space size: 128mb free space: 128mb no type

Disk 0 partition 2 size: 238.3gb free space: 232.2gb type: primary

Disk 1 unallocated space size:1863.0gb free space: 2863gb no type.

I had just instaled windows but then I shut it off (not using the power button) and its now making me reinstall. Firat time I could pick my ssd. Now it says "windows cannot bw installed to this disk. The selected disk is of the GPT partion style". Can anyone tell me how to fix this.

I already set my ssd to my boot drive.

Yes I watched the video linus made on this but it says nothing about this :(

Thanks guys.

Disconnect all drives except for the SSD. Then delete all partitions and create an new one. You should end up with two. A small one 100Mb and the rest. install to the big one

As well do I delete the ssd file thats listed as primary?? And I cant delete the one with the name "disk 0 unallocated space"

Any ideas?

Unallocated is just that. Nothing to delete. I think it say advance options then you can delete the created one. As in New. Disconnect any other  Drives or windows will place a boot partition on them and you could accidently delete your data

When you delete everything you should just have one as unallocated. Then create "New" it will make two partitions. Watch a you tube video
