Keyboard Stabilizers

Last night i was cleaning my 3 year-old Razer Blackwidow "2012" Standard Edition, and everything kinda well. When I pulled off the spacebar keycap the stabilizer hinges broke. I have found an alternative way to mount the spacebar, that allows for a much more ergonomic typing experience. It still works perfectly, but some stabilizers could be useful since I plan to keep it as a secondary keyboard next to my other monitor.

 

Now to they question: Is there anyway I could make a DIY stabilizer? What If I hot-glued some springs onto the keycap to make stabilize it?

There isnt much you can do. Unless you have a Special plate (the Blackwidow doesn't), you cannot swap between Cherry and Costar stabs. BY hinges, are you referrig to on the plate, or  on the keycap?

Too bad... But it's usable and I'm likely to change it soon anyway (This has been my plan for 4 months)

At least I learned to avoid keyboards with costar stabilizers now
