just make sure that the z87 motherboard does not need a bios flash to support the 4690k i had to make sure and the other MB i wanted to get did not so i ended up getting a z97 instead

and also why do you want to get a z87 ? try to get a z97 with sata express or m.2 support might want to get something latter never hurts to get latest gear :)

Needs Update

Just edited sorry :)

It's a good build but I would have gone with a 980. Cheaper than the 780Ti and outperforms it in games (usually) and from what I heard can overclock like an absolute beast.

I would also suggest a slightly less powerful PSU like a 700 or a 650W unless you're planning on more GPUs

if you do plan to SLI latter i would rather get a 980 not a 780 TI even if you don't plan to SLI it might be a better buy

Thanks for the feedback guys, after doing some research i've decided to run to 980 in sli, do you have anymore recommendations or should i stick with what i've got? :)

i decided to get a 760w psu for extra power because i'm planning on getting more ram and running two graphics cards in sli, thought i'd plan ahead :)

in that case, that PSU will serve you well. That rig will be a monster, and I mean a MONSTER.
