32 bit or 64 bit

If you have a 64 bit processor, go for 64 bit OS. Otherwise you are obvisouly limited to 32 bit...

Don't just go for 64 bit just because you have a 64 bit CPU.  Anything with less than 2GB of RAM will perform EXTREMELY poorly with a 64 bit OS.

I would go with 32, actually it is what I am trying to go with, I am just having some issues with my WM.

 

32 bit is the safest option to go with, as @AnnoyedShelf said 64 bit will perform badly with less RAM.

 

Just go with 32, you aren't going to need the features 64 bit gives you if you are going to test a tech-preview.

Well I haven't heard of too many 64 bit systems that have only 2 GB ram... But you are right lol.

Learned this the hard way. Installed 64 bit Ubuntu on my dad's old laptop. RAN LIKE SHIT. Ended up switching to 32 bit real fast.
