i5 2500k

z77 asus lk

16gb kingston ram

gtx 760

128 gb samsung 840 pro

1 tb seagate

CX 600 PSU

 

budget around 600 CAD

 

DO SOME AFTER EFFECT BUT MOSTLY GAMING

 

Upgrade CPU and MOBO  or the new 900 series Nvidia GPU

 

Also really wanted to change the PSU as it makes  weird noises 

want to change to the rm 750 its on sale and its modular so save room for my case (the H440 from NZXT)

I wouldn't really upgrade anything here except the PSU, and maybe the case, what case do you have?

Nothing is wrong here unless you are playing at a super high res you shoudln't be having any performance issue for the need to upgrade

this build solid doe. if you dont have a nice cooler, get one and oc that 2500k, it becomes a beast.

H440 its a good case buy the room for cable management is too little

I don't see any upgrades possible here except the PSU, maybe if you want, upgrade to something very powerful like 980.

if I am upgrading my psu, do you think is it better to use the rest for the 970 or just save the rest for 980?
