Hello. I'm running windows 8 64-bit and it seems like my laptop starts glitching out or isn't as snappy as it was before. Does anyone know any good software for windows 8 that will let you optimize drives, check for errors and fix them and anything else that will make it better? thanks.

http://www.piriform.com/defraggler

The built in error checker for Windows is good enough, it's the defragger in windows that isn't that great.

Just use the one in the TOOLS tab under the drive properties.

Registry cleaners will do more damage then good a lot of the time

some like CCleaner do allow you to backup deleted registry entries but you're still taking a risk.

I suggest using Tune up utilities software, I have been using this for a long time now and I think that it's good: it can scan your whole PC for performance issues, including your HDD (sector scans, defrags, etc) :D each time I do a complete scan it took about an evening, and after that my laptop's speed increases noticably

Sorry for bad grammar :P

Okay I got CCleaner installed, simply click the registry tab, and I run everything BUT Unused file extensions, Fonts, and applications, I uncheck those 3 and then run it and you are golden.
