swapping motherboards

Hi,  I have recently been having problems with my motherboard and I need to RMA it and get a new one, my question is can I replace the motherboard in my system, have everything else the same and NOT have to install windows again, plus keep all my programs ect. I will be getting the exact same model as I had before.

Your bio's wont have the windows boot loader on it to my knowledge so it may not want to boot... although if it is the same model it might

of course, none of your files or programs are stored on the motherboard. Just like pretty much aynthing except the HDD/SSD, you can swap it out without losing anything.

If you get the exact same model (and exact exact, same revision and everything) in theory it should work...most of the time it does, in school we ghost Windows to a lot of computers...it all works.

The bootloader is installed on the disk

If you use identical settings on your motherboard, I don't see why it wouldn't work
