I'm currently running a Intel Core I7 2600K cpu and an Asus P8P67 Deluxe edition motherboard. Should I upgrade to the newer haswell chipset or will it be a waste of money.

P.S - Moving my pc into a corsair 900D.

Stick with your current cpu. It's not getting old yet.

This CPU is still great so I would stick with it. If you want to overclock, get a Z77 board. Haswell performance only has a 10% difference from the previous generation which isn't significant imo.

Stick with it, Haswell isn't worth the upgrade, you will have to buy a whole new motherboard, and sandy bridge is a great overclocker. So stick with your current CPU.

1. Nope. Wait till Broadwell or anything with a huge performance boost after that.

2. That case would be a waste of money in my opinion.

Should I rather upgrade to the Z77 Asus Maximus V Formula instead?. I am looking into overclocking. I'm moving into a full liquid cooling setup.

I will keep my Sandy ;D

I would get that board since you will be doing high overclocks since you are planning to do some liquid cooling. :) The MSI Z77 Big Bang Mpower board is also a good choice if you want to save some money.

If your new board can't fit in your case I would just buy the case first before buying another motherboard to not lose some of the warranty period. Get the 680 now if you want and if it fits in your current case.
