Hi guys and gals, I'm new to the community :) looks like a great community btw. But to the point, I'm a console and pc gamer but I'm tired of gaming on my laptop which is an Asus G750. I'm looking to build a rig that can handle gaming but also video editing and etc because I'm starting my YouTube fitness channel soon. I want to also OC this build (never done it before) everything here is new to me hence my first build. I'm open to suggestions and changes in the build, my price point would preferably be between $1,000 to $1,500 maybe a bit above. PCPartPicker part list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/jxJsMp

Strong build. I just change the GPU since the 970 performs better. Case something nice is always better :D. Motherboard changed because the ASUS is completely overpriced in my opinion and the Gibabyte GA is quite a good board.

A few note here:

Since after I get every thing necessary, it's only ~1250$, so I put in a few extra bucks on Case, CPU cooler and PSU because the CPU Cooler is much better and the PSU will be able to support 2 ways SLI easily with the GTX 970 (dont get a 780 now)

Also I change to an i7 since you said you are going to start a youtube channel and you probably going to be rendering video alot, so an i7 will make it faster
