Question Regarding Using two Traktor S2 MKII's

So, I know not a lot of people on this forum will have experience with dj equipment but I thought it would be worth a shot to ask here. My friend and I both have Traktor s2 mkII's and we want to know if there is a way to configure one to control decks 1 and 2 and another to control decks 3 and 4 effectively making it a 4 deck controller. I would think there would be but I've tried googeling it and I did not come up with something though I did not go into it very deeply. Thanks for the help :D

Well, unless they updated the crap out of it since i last used it, It should be under each deck on the screen what line it comes out. So if you an audio interface that only has 2 outs for each side, or if it does so with a single connection, it should be as easy as selecting the line, I think it was split by like A B C  and D.

wouldn't you need two computers for that? or am I not understanding correctly

No, I just thought about it, and your setup probably just plugs in with usb or something? If so it should be as easy as setting them up in "lines" (I forget what it's called)  I think they're in one of the options area where you have to set up.

Again, I'm going off of memory here, but from what I remeber, (I had a more complicated set up than yours) I had to set each table to some sort of channel. So if you had 4 tables on screen you could set 2 to say B. If you screen shot your version I can try to help you out more :/

yup ill post a screenshot, thanks for the help btw! And my controller does run through usb but it has a built in soundcard and I use that so if I was to use 2 controllers I would essentially be using one as decks a and b as well as the mixer and effects 1 and 2, and the soundcard, then the other as decks c and d and maybe effects 3 and 4

I figured it didn't change much. You see the letters next to the crossfader? That's what I used to get it to work like that if i recall right

Yeah, I see the letters but what I don't understand is how to make it so that one deck controls a and b and the other controls c and d...
