College Question

NInety

If I want to do the online degree in art thing at this college, would I have to use a Mac? I don't want to and I'd seriously consider any other college simply because I don't like Macs. :/

I'm not trolling, I just don't like 'em.

Looks like you would have to, guess you've got to keep looking then!

I strongly dislike macs too, if a college required me to get one I would just continue looking for different colleges.

No offense, but Is that school fully accredited? Honestly tons of schools these days are just cash-grabs because they can get away with outrageous pricing.

edit: it's not regionlally accredited, and it's accredited nationally by these guys:

Fully accredited? Not sure what you mean by that.

Here's the full college website.

In order for a school to offer a degree, they have to be accredited to actually offer that degree. You can't just start a school and start handing out degrees willy nilly.

The institution that gave that school an accreditation (in other words, the ability to actually grant degrees) has limited scope in the types of degrees they can grant:

The U.S. Department of Education identifies the scope of ACCSC recognition as the accreditation of private postsecondary institutions offering non-degree programs or associate, bachelor’s and master’s degrees in programs that are "predominantly organized to educate students for occupational, trade and technical careers, and institutions that offer programs via distance education."[3]

Basically, I'm saying you might want to spend more time looking at schools before you spend your money.

I believe that school gives every student a Mac book. Not sure though.

(It probably jacks up the tuition so then they say it's "free" when it's really not)
