Hi guys, so I'm planning a build for a friend. He's looking to be in the $750-$800 range and so far I have this:

He'd like to keep the case and the inclusion of an ssd, so I'm thinking I might scale back the gpu a bit to allow for an after market cooler to overvolt the pentium.

Speaking of which, I'm looking for either a heat-pipe style fan design, or a single radiator design. Thoughts?

Also looking to get a portable monitor as this is a rig which might be moving around a bit, so recommendations for that would be appreciated as well.

Thanks,

Is there really going to be a major performance benefit with higher speed ram?

What makes this motherboard better. It looks basically the same, and is higher priced, and isn't in the color scheme (less of a problem).

Other than that looks good. Thanks for the cooler recommendation.

I would make sure that 280x will fit in that case

Good point. I'll look into it and make sure.
