Do "Gunnars" work?

There's more to it than that.  The lens filter physically blocks some of the light spectrum that is a huge component of eye strain and fatigue for some people.

 

What no one can reduce the brightness of their monitors? :huh:

So your monitor is defective then or not for you.

 

As in not made for you or your light viewable spectrum.

 

You'd be better off placing that filter on the monitor not your head, if its a global issue.

I roll with sigs off so I have no idea what you're advertising.

They do make filters that go over top of your screen.

It's not a defect in the monitor, it's one of the downsides to monitor technology in general. It's beaming light straight into your eye holes. Some of the light bothers some people more than others. Part of this is why eink is so much easier to read.

So your monitor is defective then or not for you.

They work great for me. I have a prescription pair, and I use it all the time. Keep in mind they do get dirty easily, keep microfiber cloth close!

 

They really come in handy during long trading sessions.

My MLG Phantom Gunnars are great! Just keep in mind that if you wear glasses, wearing another pair of glasses over them isn't really comfortable. Consider a prescription pair, they're that good.

I found them to only work a tiiiiny bit.  Not worth the price tag.  You'll be better off just dimming your monitor.
