It is definitely worth having an SSD. Depending on what you are planning on doing with your drive, you could use the SSD for your more frequently used programs and files and the HDD for storage.

I would say a good sized SSD is a 120GB or a 250GB. If you are not planning on working with big files or heavy programs off the HDD, I would say WD Blue is more suitable for you. If you would like to play games from the HDD, I would again say that WD Blue would be sufficient as games rely on storage only for loading times.

WD Black would be more appropriate if you are going to work with big files or heavy programs  from the HDD as it was designed for heavier usage, has longer warranty and is build with more robust materials.

 

Overall, I would say that SSD + WD Blue is the ultimate option (provided that you have enough space on the SSD for your important programs).
