I've seen the new Sapphire r9 290 TriX can run in crossfire with another identical card. I was wondering if you need a special motherboard to support this or if the gpu can do it with any motherboard because I plan on using these in crossfire in my system and wondered if I need to make a change to my motherboard.

I currently use the

ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS......

Anybody know????
